Swim Jersey ® is the specially designed fabric used by CoverSwim made from recycled microfibers. This organic material has been certified by Oeko-Tex, which means it is 100% free from harmful chemicals.
Our fabric is also UPF 50+ certified, meaning it blocks up to 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays. This makes your CoverSwim swimsuit or cover-up the perfect addition to any vacation, as you can wear it at the beach, river or on hikes, knowing your skin is protected, and that the environment you so enjoy was not harmed in making your beautiful swimsuit.
2) Ethically manufactured
Cover’s pieces are all manufactured in a factory in Los Angeles. Eight years ago, our founder Lisa was their first client. The production team has since the start been paid well by Lisa for their work, and she is committed to ensuring the well-being of the employees in our factory through ethical working hours and fair pay.

Cover’s pieces are unlike other swimwear items, as it is designed to be in line with clothing sizes, not swimwear. This means that you can order sizes in accordance with your regular clothing sizes – for example how you would size a fitted shirt or bodysuit.
